Till Pill

The kids and I took Till Pill down the back for a swim tonight as you can see she loved it.

Here she is stalking some ducks that were trying to have a relax in the water.

Karma got Till here, she had just got out and shook herself all over us and ran away only to hit herself in the face with a stick - we thought it was funny.

Xavier and Em posed for a photo, by this time Sophie had gone back inside
Tilly all tuckered out after her big swim.
I think the photo's are really improving its so nice having a camera that takes such great shots. Maybe it won't be six months between updates this time!

Santa came....

Santa visited this year and although he forgot me, Mick and the kids bought me a new camera.

I have got some great shots starting to happen.

Mick and the kids after they finished opening pressies. I am still trying to get the hang of zooming!

Two little angels......

Em, camera shy, I think not.

Soph with her Tamagotchi.

The little man who has such beautiful brown eyes that make everyone melt.

Below are Christmas photo's out at Mum and Dirks. Xavier and Dirkie were looking at Cocky eat his Christmas cake.

Micks collection

Mick has got his new detector and goes missing in action quite often!
Above are his finds to date, not quite able to retire as yet but heres hoping retirement will come early!.

Flying over Bendigo

The girls got a surprise this morning when they got a joint birthday present, all be it Emily's 6 months early! We (Soph, Em and myself) went up in a plane over Bendigo. Mick had gone up with his Nana and Aunt for his Nan's 85th birthday so I got to go with the girls. Emily has an absolute ball. Soph on the other hand was more interested in her new DS that she received from us for her birthday!

We had been up for about five minutes when I looked around to see how the girls were going to see Soph deeply involved with her game. She ended up putting it down and having a look out the window.

It was a great day for flying this morning, barely any movement at all was felt in the plane. The pilot was very chatty too, pointing out different things along the way.

Here are a couple of pics before we took of and then the girls with the pilot after we had landed. Xavier thought it was pretty good too watching us go up up and away.

I think today will be a very big day, we now have Geordies party to go to thenoff to Nathan's 21st tonight!

More gold......

Mick has found another piece of gold which he was very excited about this one was 1.8gms, his biggest piece to date.
The pic with Mick's hand is all five pieces he has the one in Xavier's hand is the latest piece. It looks quite big in his hand.

Xavier turns 2!

Xavier enjoyed his 2nd birthday. He knew what all the presents were about and thought that he could keep blowing the candles out while everyone was singing Happy Birthday to him, it was quite cute really, and of course being the centre of attention was hard for him!

I forgot to take any photo's luckily Mum sent some through.
He looks very cute detecting with his new detector, look out dad I'll steal your patch!

The kids and Tilly

Here are some updated pictures of the kids. It seems like an age since I took a pic of the three of them together. They (including Tilly) are growing up so fast, although Tilly doesn't seem to be maturing fast enough. She stills love the vege patch or should I say still loves destroying the vege patch, much to Mick's disgust!
Xavier has been taking many years of my life, with putting beads up his nose, running in front of trucks, putting things in the toaster just to name a few. He is so mischievous.

The snake at the School Fair

Mick, Xavier and Emily had their picture taken with the snake that was at the fair. It was really quite big, snakes aren't my thing. It took me a while to get a hold of the memory stick the pictures were on, but finally here they are.

Xavier on the motibike!

We had the girls' fair on Friday night and Xavier loved the motibikes (as Xave calls them) so much. We had a little tantrum when it was time to leave them. There was so much to do at the fair. They had lots of ride and even snakes, a crocodile, dingo and turtle. Xavier, Mick & Emily had their picture taken with the snake.

Brooke and Adams Engagement Party

Mick and I headed over to Quontong for Brooke and Adams engagement party last night. We had such a ball, we spent most of the night dancing with Kristie and Adam. Jeanette was in great form too. They had a fantastic one man band. He played the drums, guitar and mouth organ as well as sang great songs. Here are some of the pics that I took.

Gold....

Mick is feeling very pleased with himself after finding another piece of gold the other night. That's two pieces in as many outings this week. Here you can see the two pieces is has now found.

St Patrick's Day Dancing Concert

The girls had their Dancing concert Tuesday night. They looked just georgous. Here are some pics that we took before we went, the one's on stage didn't turn out very well. But they both did really well and Xavier had a ball too. Kristina got some really good shots, especially the one of the two Em's doin the heel and toe.

Arnold Semi Finals

It seems like an eternity ago, but now I am back on line I can get a few more blogs happening! The boys made the semi-finals this year, which was great. Unfortunately they didn't win, Kingower ended up in the Grand Final. Mick did really well for the year though. He picked up a 5 for. He now has a trophy ball and he also came runners up in the club best and fairest. He made a few runs too which was good.

Eureka....

Yes we are rich, well maybe not rich but on our way. Mick has found his first piece of gold with the detector. He has now stopped blaming the equipment. It weighed in at 0.5gm. No its not big but he is really happy with it, and proves that his detector can find small pieces as well. I think he may have lost some of his argument to upgrade the detector....he he he. When he rang to say he'd found a piece the girls kept saying 'We're rich now!'

Pilates

I couldn't resist getting the camera out here. After years of telling Mick how good Pilates makes you feel he has decided to try it out.

The girls usually join me when I do it but it was so funny when Xavier joined in with Mick and the girls. He did have time to stop and pose for one picture though! Then he was checking in with Dad to see if he was doing it the right way!

Back to School 2009

The girls are back at school for another year. It was so nice having so much time together over the holidays but as they say all good things have to end. I am still trying to get my head around the fact they are in Grades 2 & 1.
Growing up too fast.
